Artist's Comments

As you can see, it is a finely sculped Silt strider sculped from bread ties then finely taped to a finely torn peice of tissue box. I know, I know, hold your applause.

With a distinct lack of anything to do, I've been looking for ways of quelling my boredom. I've been mostly making origami cranes, but the other day I got it into my head that I'd make something using bread ties seeing as I seem to have an unending supply of them. Didn't mean for it to be a strider, but halfway through I realized that's what it was... This guy has a permanent spot beside my computer now.

Anyway, took about thirty minutes to do. I used a fairly crappy camera so sorry for the poor quality pics.

I'm hoping that this peice will be the catalyst to start an entire genre of bread tie art around the world!

I appologize to you, the viewer, for having to see this, and to my watchers, for not uploading something good... >.>

Thank you, you'd be surprised what you can accomplish when you have absolutely nothing to do.

I never would have thought of doing something like that.

Thank you. It surprisingly easy to to put together, though I am surprised the thing is still holding in one peice...
