"Tell me, are you the Hunter? Or the Prey?"

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Well, not really sure how to explain this one. If you're somewhat familiar with the Elder Scrolls universe, you should know who this is. For those of you that don't, I guess I can explain.

This here is the Daedra Prince Hircine, Lord of the Hunt, the Sport of Daedra, the Great Game, the Chase, known as the Huntsman and the Father of Manbeasts. I don't really want to say anything about his part in any of the ES games so I don't ruin anything for you, so I'll talk about the picture.

For the last couple of days I've been working on a series of Tapestry textures for a personal mod I'm doing for Morrowind. I was surprised at the lack of Daedra based tapestries, so through the use of the "Make Your Own Tapestry" mod, I'm making a tapestry for each of the Daedra Lords. I really liked how the Hircine texture turned out so I decided to make it into a larger picture and well.... Here it is! I MAY do more like this for the other Daedra Princes, but I don't know. I know without a doubt I will be uploading the Textures and Screenshots of the Tapestries once I'm done with them but I don't know when that will be.

TL/DR It's based off a tapestry I'm doing in a game mod for Morrowind.

Made with GIMP 2.4.5

I've always loved Hirecine he's really balanced in his aspect. Even if you're the hunted in one of his games you can turn the tables and slay his champion he'll still be pleased. Or if you in the wild hunt then he will respect you for escaping... if you can that is. a wild hunt is a special event in which you are hand chosen as the prey or hunter and while the odds are obviously stacked against you. an escape is always provided because no escape is seen as a vile cheat on behalf of the one chosen as the hunter.

and oddly enough he's one the the few daedra who feels pity towards his prey. in the wild hunt it's said that when the prey is slain there is a moment of saddens for the innocent that was hunted.
